ABOUT

Issues that stand in the way of a happy, contented life and personal growth, can't be easily identified by friends or family, or even ourselves.  It requires a skilled professional to discern what issues are holding us back.  With the proper tools, everyone can learn to do so much more than just survive. Experiencing joy in life is a reachable goal.  I can help you learn techniques to use in reaching your goals, in becoming more confident, and in loving yourself.

My practice is designed to provide a calming presence in a respectful and safe environment.

I have been a member of the American Counseling Association for 15 years.

I Love my Work

I have been helping adults learn how to reach their potential by getting "un-stuck" for over 15 years.  In my private practice I work with individuals on personal issues that are causing them difficulty in their daily lives.  In addition to private counseling, I have facilitated support groups, including Huntington's, Hospice Bereavement, and Pet Loss.

I have also had experience as a Clinical Crisis Counselor, an Academic Counselor, and was on the faculty of Front Range Community College as an instructor of Psychology.

By using a variety of therapeutic methods, I can ensure that each client receives the best mode of therapy necessary to address their individual needs. Also a part of my training and practice is EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for treatment of trauma.
